Dr. Bose’s journey, as a hard-core Global Sustainability Advocate, has been marked by numerous ground-breaking achievements. With specialization in Wind energy, Water, and Environmental sustainability domains, he has pioneered many first-time initiatives in India, earning him multiple hat-tricks to his credit. Over a span of three decades, Dr. Bose successfully commissioned three highly reputable German Corporations in India, cementing his role as a ‘Brand Ambassador’ for German Mittelstand (MSME) Companies in the country. As the Founder Managing Director of SEW EURODRIVE INDIA, SAERTEX INDIA, and ENERCON WINDENERGY (wholly-owned subsidiaries of German Companies), he has played a pivotal role in establishing their presence and driving their success.
Dr. Bose’s journey began as the Managing Director for India & Area Countries for SEW EURODRIVE, where he served as a catalyst for ‘ENERGY CONSERVATION’ through pioneering applications in India. His next endeavour took him to SAERTEX INDIA, where he served as Vice Chairman & Managing Director. Here, he introduced advanced composite materials such as glass, carbon, and aramid, revolutionizing the industry by replacing steel and metal in various applications. For the past four years, Dr. Bose has been the driving force behind ENERCON WINDENERGY, the wholly owned subsidiary of ENERCON Group, Germany—the largest privately owned wind turbine makers in the world. As its Vice Chairman & Managing Director for India, he spearheaded green field projects for generators, towers, and blades, transforming India into the Global Export Hub for the Group, despite the challenges posed by COVID and other adversities. Today ENERCON is one of the most successful wind turbine makers in India.
Dr. Bose’s unwavering commitment to sustainability extends beyond his professional endeavours. He has emerged as a leading voice for ‘Sustainability’ in India, championing causes such as energy conservation, carbon emission reduction, energy efficiency, and most recently, green energy as the most sustainable source. Widely recognized as the ‘SUSTAINABILITY EVANGELIST’ in the country, he has been at the forefront of campaigns and initiatives that promote sustainable practices and pave the way for a greener future.
